What is your character's profession?

Professions represent specialized, roleplay-focused paths that characters can pursue to gain unique abilities and utilities outside of combat. Each profession provides a progression of minor features or effects from levels 1 to 20, designed to enhance creativity and situational problem-solving. These features often involve crafting, exploration, or interaction-based tools, such as potions, inventions, or environmental adaptations.

While professions are not meant to rival class abilities in power, they offer flexible, flavorful options that enrich character development and encourage resourceful play. Players can access profession abilities as they level up, with the specifics of each feature tailored by the DM to fit the campaign’s needs. These special features can be done while completing a long rest.

If your character has 2 professions, on level you can choose which profession to level. Example, a player with Alchemist and Brewer can have 14 levels of Alchemist and 6 levels of Brewer. You are not limited to 2 professions.
