Kalashtar are born from the union of mortal elven souls and mysterious spirits from the dreamscape, emerging as ethereal beings whose presence reflects the hidden depths of the realm beyond waking life. Their luminous eyes, often glowing with silver or opalescent hues, and delicate features set them apart. Their skin carries a subtle luminescence, and their attire appears to be woven from soft light and shadow—a living echo of the dreams that shape their existence.

In secluded sanctuaries throughout Shattered Realms, Kalashtar have built a culture founded on quiet communion and inner reflection. Their rituals and meditative practices reveal the secrets of the dream world, guiding decisions and forging a deep connection to both nature and magic. By day, they move among mortals with a calm and steady grace; by night, their shared visions guide their community, reinforcing traditions that honor balance and renewal.

Kalashtar in Shattered Realms serve as living bridges between the waking world and the hidden domain of dreams. Their thoughtful presence and subtle magic remind those who encounter them that the power of dreams can transform daily life. In every measured word and soft glow, Kalashtar inspire a deeper awareness of the delicate currents that shape the world around us.

Naptime Remedy

Grant allies visions of peace to help revitalize your wounded allies during a short rest. If you or any friendly creatures regain hit points at the end of the short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, each of those creatures regains an extra 1d6 hit points.

The extra Hit Points increase when you reach certain levels: to 1d8 at 9th level, to 1d10 at 13th level, and to 1d12 at 17th level.

Mental Discipline

You have resistance to psychic damage. If you already have psychic resistance, it is increased to immunity.

Subtle Telepathy

As a bonus action, you can telepathically send a brief message (a single word or short phrase) to a creature you can see within 30 feet, the creature hears the message in your voice.

You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus, or by expending a 1st level or higher spell slot.

Sweet Dreams

When you finish a short rest, you can use an action to grant a willing creature within 30 feet the benefits of a long rest. That creature regains hit points and recovers expended resources as if it had taken a full long rest.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, you cannot use this feature on a Kalashtar.
