10th Level Feature
You can assess a gem’s quality when affixing it to an item. Roll a d20 to find it's rarity. On a 1, the gem is flawed and has no magical properties, and on a 20, it is perfect and the gem's effects are doubled. When you finish a short or long rest, you can replace a gem affixed to an item with another gem of your choice.

Last Light
14th Level Feature
Your mastery over runic gems allows them to protect those who bear them. When a creature attuned to one of your affixed gems would make a death saving throw at the start of their turn, you can choose to unaffix and destroy the gem before the roll is made. If you do, the creature regains hit points equal to five times your proficiency bonus, and they do not make a death saving throw.

Runeforge Recall
19th Level Feature

You forge a deep magical resonance between yourself and those who bear your gems. As a bonus action, you can teleport to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of a creature attuned to one of your affixed gems. Alternatively, you can cause a willing creature attuned to one of your gems to teleport to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you.

This teleportation can cross any distance and functions across planes, unless either you or the target is on a plane or under an effect that blocks teleportation (such as Forbiddance or Antimagic Field ). The target must be willing and conscious.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest. You may expend a 6th-level spell slot or higher to use it again.
