You've learned how to invest a spark of magic into mundane objects. To use this ability, you must have thieves' tools or artisan's tools in hand.
As an action, you can touch a Tiny nonmagical object and imbue it with one of the following magical properties:
- The object sheds bright light in a 5-foot radius and dim light for an additional 5 feet.
- When tapped by a creature, the object emits a recorded message (up to 6 seconds) audible within 10 feet.
- The object continuously emits a chosen odor or nonverbal sound (such as wind, waves, or chirping) audible within 10 feet.
- A static visual effect appears on one surface—this can be a picture, up to 25 words of text, shapes, or a combination.
The chosen effect lasts indefinitely. You can touch the object again as an action to end the effect early.
You can have a number of these effects active on different objects equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1). If you exceed this limit, the oldest effect immediately ends.
In addition, if you use a ranged weapon without loaded ammunition, it automatically creates one piece of ammunition when you make a ranged attack. This ammunition vanishes immediately after hitting or missing.
If the damage reduction exceeds the damage taken, the excess is applied as temporary hit points to the target.
